UAE's Cambridge Medical owner hires advisory firm for potential sale

UAE - Mubasher: The owner of the Cambridge Medical and Rehabilitation Centre (CMRC), a long-term care business in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, has hired deNovo, a corporate advisory firm, for a potential sale of the company, three sources told Reuters.

The sources referred that TVM Capital Healthcare, a Dubai-based private investment company, is planning to exit from a deal worth between $200 million and $300 million, which was reached with the CMRC in 2012.

One of the sources referred that deNovo has issued a document about potential buyers for the CMRC, which has facilities in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain in the UAE and Dhahran in Saudi Arabia.

Another source said that investors such as healthcare providers and other private equity players from the region and outside had shown interests to invest in the CMRC.
