Dubai – Mubasher: DAMAC Properties on Wednesday announced plans to launch its luxury Burj Damac Seaviews in Qatar next week.
Located in the Marina District of Lusail City, the 31-storey tower will feature furnished and serviced apartments and townhouses, according to a statement.
The Damac Seaviews apartments will be put up for sale in Doha on 24 May at the Dubai-listed developer’s sales office with a starting price of QAR 2.5 million ($686,057).
Speaking ahead of the launch, DAMAC’s senior vice-president Niall McLoughlin said that the city of Lusail “represents the centre of Qatar’s future”, noting that his company was bringing a new development that “will raise the bar of [Qatar’s] hospitality sector."
"In addition to the premium location and spectacular sea views this project offers, investors can enjoy the option to become part of our rental pool. This means that they can earn rental income from their property when they are not staying there themselves," he added.
Under the Qatar National Tourism Sector Strategy 2030, the Gulf country looks to attract over seven million leisure and business travellers annually, with hotel accommodation supply to exceed 56,000 units.
