Dubai – Mubasher: Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has announced handing over projects for transferring energy at a value of AED 1.05 billion.
The projects include establishing high voltage plant, two transferring plants, and 75 kilometres of ground cables, according to a statement.
DEWA also reveals plans to invest AED 81 billion in energy sector in Dubai in the coming five years, CEO Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer said.
The UAE’s body is currently working on building 85 plants during the next three years with a value that pass AED 9 billion, in addition to another six plants at a value of AED 2.4 billion, Al Tayer added.
On a side note, DEWA established 16 main plants for transferring energy during 2018.
