Dubai – Mubasher: Dubai Electricity and Water Authority’s (DEWA) managing director and CEO Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer met with Marina Hashim, CEO of Électricité de France (EDF) in the Middle East, to discuss enhancing mutual collaboration.
Al Tayer and Hashim discussed the joint important projects, in addition to green initiatives which DEWA is implementing in Dubai as part of Dubai Clean Energy Strategy for 2050, according to the state-run utility's statement.
The two officials also considered implementing more expansion in collaboration with French firms through initiatives, programmes, and available investment opportunities by DEWA.
On Saturday, DEWA announced that it awarded four contracts to establish substations at the value of more than AED 1.28 billion.
