Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Department of Transport (DOT) has announced that it will shut down all customer service centres on the occasion of the New Year holiday, starting Sunday, 31 December 2017.
All centres will resume work on Tuesday, 2 January, the DOT added in a statement.
The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) previously stated that all ministries and federal authorities will not be operational on Sunday and Monday, 31 December 2017 and 1 January 2018, respectively.
The Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) announced earlier that the UAE’s two bourses will be closed on those two days, with trading to resume on Tuesday, 2 January 2018.
