Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Abu Dhabi-based Eagle Hills has announced plans to enter the Omani hotel market with a new project overlooking the Oman sea.
The private real estate investment and development firm unveiled the Mandarin Oriental, a hotel developed by Eagle Hills Muscat, a joint venture between the UAE firm and Izz International.
Managed by Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group and due to open in 2021, the Mandarin Oriental includes 150 rooms and suites, added to five restaurants and bars, a spa, and an outdoor swimming pool, Eagle Hills said in a statement.
“We are delighted to be venturing into the vibrant Omani market for the first time, and particularly in the capital Muscat, where we aim to provide both residents and tourists with new levels of sophistication and service in partnership with the prestigious Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group,” commented Eagle Hills CEO Low Ping.
Meanwhile, Mandarin Oriental CEO James Riley described the Omani capital as an “entrancing destination with character, charm, and an abundance of visitor attractions.”
He expressed his happiness with spreading his company’s brand presence on the Arabian Peninsula through the Mandarin Oriental project
“We look forward to bringing Mandarin Oriental’s legendary service standards to Muscat,” Riley added.
Abu Dhabi-based Eagle Hills is currently developing projects in Bahrain, Jordan, Morocco, Oman, Serbia, and the UAE.
