Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Etihad Airways on Sunday unveiled the completion of a project with international cash management bank partner Citi to provide new automated treasury tools at the airline.
The project, which took 18 months to conclude, was completed six months before its predetermined date, Etihad said in a statement.
Etihad has applied Citi’s liquidity management solution to “achieve substantial cash optimisation and competitive market rates resulting in significant transaction cost savings,” the statement showed.
On another note, two days ago, and ahead of the Saudi National Day, Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Airways announced a 10% discount on its flights from Saudi Arabia to any destination.
