Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: Foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows to the UAE reached $11 billion (AED 40.3 billion) in 2015, compared to $10.82 billion the year before, according to a report released by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).
The UAE became the ninth largest recipient of FDI in Asia in 2015, the report highlighted, adding that the country ranked first regionally and 16th globally in terms of FDI.
The UAE’s FDI outflows stood at $9.26 billion in 2015, a rise of 3% from $9.02 billion in 2014.
