UAE - Mubasher: The H2A rocket carrying the UAE's Hope probe has been placed on the launchpad at Japan’s Tanegashima Space Centre for the launch of the Emirates Mars Mission on Monday, 20 July, at 1:58 am (UAE time).
The probe is expected to reach Mars in February 2021, which marks the celebration of the UAE's Golden Jubilee.
Previously, the UAE has postponed the liftoff of the Hope probe two times due to unstable weather conditions in Japan.
It is noteworthy to mention that on 16 July, the UAE Space Agency and the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC) have set the period between 20 July to 22 July as the new date to launch the Hope probe.
