Mubasher: Jumeirah Group, the UAE global luxury hotel company plans to open seven new hotels in the Gulf region and international markets from the period between November 2018 and the end of 2019, TradeArabia News Service reported.
Jumeirah announced its new business plans during its annual GCC roadshow from 11 to 14 November. The roadshow was launched in Saudi Arabia, and included the cities of Jeddah and Riyadh, followed by Bahrain, and concluding in Kuwait.
“Amongst the most prominent hotels highlighted during the roadshow is Jumeirah’s first hotel in Saudi Arabia - Jabal Omar Jumeirah in Makkah Hotel. Anticipated to open in 2019, the hotel will offer guests and visitors to the Holy Capital, Jumeirah’s superior hospitality services with facilities including 1,033 guestrooms and 93 villas, a variety of dining experiences, meeting facilities, executive lounge, gymnasium and over 90 retail units throughout the complex,” TradeArabia added.
Jabal Omar Jumeirah is walking distance from the Holy Mosque and comprises four towers overlooking Masjid Al Haram.
In addition to Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort, which opened in Abu Dhabi on 11 November 2018, other Jumeirah hotels to open soon include Jumeirah Al Wathba Desert Resort and Spa in the first quarter of 2019, Jumeirah Guangzhou – China in Q1-19, Jumeirah Muscat Bay – Oman in Q2-19, and Jumeirah Bali – Indonesia in Q2-19.
“The most popular hotel outside of UAE is Jumeirah Royal Saray in Bahrain followed by Jumeirah Carlton Tower in London, Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa in Kuwait and Jumeirah Grosvenor House Suites in London,” TradeArabia said.
