Dubai – Mubasher: The UAE’s Ministry of Defense (MOD) signed an AED 6 billion ($1.63 billion) deal with Lockheed Martin Corporation to update F-16 fighters, said major general Abdullah Al Sayed Al Hashemi, spokesman of the armed forces.
The planned upgrade includes 80 F-16 fighters, Al Hashemi added in a news conference on Sunday.
