UAE - Mubasher: The UAE's Masdar has inked an agreement with the Ethiopian government to develop solar power projects with a total capacity of 500 megawatts (MW) and related grid infrastructure across Ethiopia.
The agreement was signed by the CEO of Masdar, Ahmed Shide, and Ethiopia’s Minister of Finance at the Prime Minister’s office in Addis Ababa in Ethiopia, the Abu Dhabi-based company announced on its official Twitter account.
It is noteworthy to mention that on 10 March 2021, Masdar has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Malaysia's Petroliam Nasional Berhad (Petronas) to explore renewable energy opportunities.
