Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The UAE’s Ministry of Finance (MoF) is still drafting and developing the executive regulations for the valued-added tax (VAT), undersecretary Younis Haji Al-Khoori said in a statement on Monday.
To-date, VAT rates that will be imposed on materials, services, supplies, and exports have not yet been determined, Al-Khoori added.
The UAE’s MoF will publish the VAT’s executive regulations when issued on all state channels, including the Official Gazette, newspapers, and magazines, the top official continued.
The official site of the UAE’s MoF is the sole reference for any information related to VAT or excise tax, Al-Khoori explained, noting that other sources of information should be disregarded.
