Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Mubadala Development Company said on Monday that it currently negotiate with global aircraft manufacturing giants to activate previous agreements signed before three years, which aim to execute major projects worth $5 billion.

“We are negotiating now with Boeing, Airbus, General Electric (GE) and Rolls-Royce to activate the deal signed in 2013,” the company’s CEO, Aerospace and Engineering Services, Homaid Al Shemmari, said on the side-line of the Global Aerospace Summit, held in Abu Dhabi.

“Negotiations are somehow complicated as they are related to major projects, we will announced full details within six months,” Al Shemmari added.

Al Shemmari also asserted that the company doesn’t plan any new projects in the aviation sector.
