Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The UAE-based, Mubadala Development Co, and the French firm, Engie SA are planning to acquire stake in gas pipeline network which is owned by Brazilian company, Petrobras, Reuters reported, citing sources as saying.
The other companies who are interested in controlling the stake are Pátria Investimentos Ltda, Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB), and EIG Global Energy Partners LLC, the agency added.
The companies will bid their offers to the Brazilian firm by the end of November.
TAG owns 4,500 kilometers of natural gas pipelines in the Northeastern of Brazil.
