UAE – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi General Services Company (Musanada) revealed it has opened the B17 ICAD Bridge on the Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed International Highway at a cost of AED 60 million in collaboration with the Department of Transport in Abu Dhabi (DoT).
The ICAD bridge serves the ZonesCorp’s Rahayel City project and ICAD Industrial Area and it facilitates traffic on all directions through one inbound lane to ICAD and two outbound lanes exiting to Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed International Highway, according to a press release.
It is worth noting that ICAD Bridge is a part of the Al Mafraq-Al Ghuwaifat Road Upgrade Project.
The upper interchange has been constructed by DoT and Musanada under the vision of the UAE’s President Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan towards to provide high-quality infrastructure that meets the needs of individuals and the community.
Mreover, DoT highlighted the importance of its collaboration with Musanada to build and develop projects that keep pace with the urban development and the growing population to achieve integrated infrastructure that serves the economic, social, and tourism objectives of Abu Dhabi’s.
Musanada said it placed approximately 69 traffic signs and seven guide signs along the bridge, in addition to supplying LED lighting to cut energy consumption by installed 199 lighting poles with 340 lamps.
