UAE - Mubasher: The National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC), a part of the UAE’s Senaat, announced it has signed separate memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with two leading energy entities in China.
The first agreement was signed with China Petroleum Engineering & Construction Corporation (CPECC), affiliated to China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), while the second was signed with the China National Chemical Engineering Co Ltd (CNCEC), according to a press release.
Through the MoUs, NPCC will work jointly with each entity separately to explore collaborative opportunities in both onshore and offshore oil and gas sectors.
Under the agreement with CPECC, NPCC will collaborate on future projects in the energy sector with the aim to create value for both companies and exchange information, data, and insights.
As per the MoU with CNCEC, the two entities will cooperate in respect of potential projects for the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and will explore potential opportunities for financing services on ADNOC projects in the MENA region.
The two agreements were signed on the sidelines of the 24th World Energy Congress in Abu Dhabi.
