Dubai – Mubahser: Nakheel intends to launch three new hotel brands in Dubai during the coming period, the company’s CEO Ali Rashid Lootah, stated to Al Khaleej Newspaper.
The company has drawn up a plan to expand in Dubai’s hospitality sector on the medium and long terms, Lootah added.
He further stated that Nakheel was seeking to double its investment portfolio in the coming years to equal the size of its residential and retail leasing portfolios, according to the newspaper.
The number of hotel units under operation and construction in the Nakheel Hospitality and Leisure portfolio has reached about 4,307 units.
