Cairo – Mubasher: The UAE’s Sandstorm Automotive on Monday announced that it was ready to produce the first fully Arab-manufactured car, while several parts are to be imported from Egypt.
Sandstorm is planning to build a factory in Egypt and to launch a production line, which could export cars to African markets, the company’s Middle East and Africa (MEA) manager Karim Saleh told Daily News Egypt newspaper.
The company intends to kick off operation in June 2018, with intial production of 3,000 to 5,000 cars, Saleh added, accordin to Daily News Egypt.
