Dubai – Mubasher: Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) on Monday unveiled AED 100 million ($27.2 million) attractions in Al Montazah Amusement and Water Park Phase II.
Along with new amenities, the project’s capacity was increased to host 7,000 guests at the water park, in addition to 10,000 visitors at the amusement park, Shurooq added.
“We will reopen Al Montazah in a brand new attire featuring attractions that will take visitor experiences to a whole new level,” said Ahmed Obaid Al Qaseer, Shurooq’s chief operating officer.
The water park at Al Montazah is scheduled to reopen next February, while the amusement park is projected to be inaugurated in the second quarter of 2018, Shurooq stated.
The new attractions also include a two-coach train with a capacity of 40 guests, the Investment and Development Authority concluded.
