Dubai - Mubasher: UAE-based Truebell has signed a distribution contract with WaterWipes, the Irish baby-care distributor, to start distributing its baby care brand across exclusively the UAE.
Truebell, the leading GCC importer of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), will launch WaterWipes in baby stores, pharmacies, major supermarkets, and in some of e-commerce outlets such as Amazon/Souq, Sprii, Spinneys, Babyshop, Mumzworld, Lulu, Boots, Carrefour, Choithram’s, among others, according to an official statement on Wednesday.
This product is considered the first Trubell will sell under its home and personal care category, the UAE-based firm’s director Mohandas Puthiyapurayil said.
“Today, parents are more willing than ever before to spend on natural and pure products for their babies. Growing disposable incomes combined with increased purchasing power of consumers have been cited as the key factors driving the global baby wipes market,” Puthiyapurayil added.
Established in 1984, Truebell currently owns more than 10,000 products, with a focus on beverages, food, hospitality, retail duty free, and supplies investments with a workforce that exceeds 1000 employees.
