UAE - Mubasher: The UAE’s Ministry of Finance (MoF) announced the launch of the Government e-Service Fees platform as well as a Strategic Partnerships Map at GITEX Technology Week 2019.
This comes as part of the ministry's strategy to boost efficiency and performance by improving its information technology solutions and adopting best practices in digital transformation, according to a press release.

This move is in line with the directives of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to shift from e-government to smart government.
Younis Haji Al Khoori, the Undersecretary of MoF, said: “The Ministry of Finance is determined to keep pace with the rapid technological development that the world is witnessing by adopting cutting-edge solutions that contribute to the digitization of our work.”
“We aim to further improve the government’s financial work in line with the highest international standards, in order to raise efficiency and reduce human errors, thus increasing customer satisfaction,” Al Khoori added.

Through the Government e-Service Fees platform, customers are able to search for all the services provided by federal government entities, along with the fees for each.
As for the Strategic Partnerships Map, it displays the history of the tax agreements signed by the UAE, in addition to the efforts done by the ministry's over 30 years to avoid double taxation and protect and promote investments.
The MoF will be showcasing its latest digital and smart services at GITEX Technology Week 2019 being held at the Dubai World Trade Center from 6 to 10 October 2019.
