Dubai – Mubasher: Dubai House Price Index plummeted 2.41% or about 6.4 points to 258.7 points last October, according to Scottish Ryden Property Reviews.
The fall in residential unites prices in Dubai totalled 13.1% in the first 10 months of this year; as apartments prices dropped 2.37% in October and 13.5% in the first 10 months of 2015, while villa prices slipped 2.63% last October and 11.3% in the January-October period.
Property rents in Dubai also decreased by 0.28% or 0.3 point to 101.7 points last October and 3.2% in the first 10 months of 2015. A fall of 0.3% inflected upon apartment rents in the same month and 3.1% in the first 10 months this year, while villa rents slid 0.22% in and 3.5% for the period.
However, the Abu Dhabi Residential Property Price Index rose 0.3 point or 0.35% to 82.5 points last October and about 2% during the year till October 31.
Apartment prices fell 0.42 in the month and 4.7% since the beginning of the year, while villa prices increased 1.51% in October and 1.2% in the first 10 months.
Residential properties rents in Abu Dhabi decreased 0.05 point or 0.08% to 65.75 points in October and 2% since the beginning of the year.
