UAE’s inflation falls to 1.3% in November

Dubai – Mubasher: The UAE’s inflation declined to 1.3% in November, for the third month in a row, compared to 1.6% a month earlier.

On a yearly basis, the inflation rate of the GCC nation went down 0.4% by the end of November, versus 1.7%, according to a report released by the UAE Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Authority (FCSA).

Cost of Living Index rose to 111.01 points last month versus 108.62 in the same period of the prior year, the state-run statistics agency noted.

November decline in the inflation rate was attributed to a drop in the prices of food and beverages, clothes, housing, and electricity, water, and gas.
