UAE - Mubasher: The total value of the UAE's non-oil foreign trade hit AED 1.403 trillion in 2020, according to the Federal Center for Competitiveness and Statistics (FCSA) as cited by the Emirates News Agency (WAM).
The UAE's non-oil exports increased by 10.1% year-on-year (YoY) to AED 254.6 billion, while the imports and re-exports amounted to AED 785.1 billion and AED 363.4 billion, respectively.
China topped the UAE's trading partners with the bilateral trade of AED 174 billion, followed by Saudi Arabia at AED 104 billion and India at AED 102.5 billion.
The US was the fourth largest trade partner at AED 80.2 billion, followed by Iraq at AED 53 billion, with the five countries representing 36.6% of the UAE's non-oil foreign trade in 2020.
Switzerland led the country's export markets with AED 29.2 billion, while China headed the country's import partners with a total value of AED 144.4 billion.
