UAE’s non-oil foreign trade to rise 10% -Ministry

Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: The UAE’s non-oil foreign trade is expected to grew 10% to reach AED 1.750 trillion in 2015, compared to AED 1.632 trillion in 2014, according to a statement by the Ministry of Economy.

The UAE maintained its rank in the International Trade Statistics 2015 report issued by the World Trade Organization (WTO) as it took the 16th place globally in merchandise exports and 20th place in merchandise imports.

WTO data reflected the ongoing success of UAE economic policies, said UAE’s Economy Minister Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori.

The minister expected the UAE to see more growth and prosperity, in line with the 2021 vision and national agenda.
