Dubai – Mubasher: The United Arab Emirates' non-oil sector is forecasted to see 3.5% growth by 2017, said the research unit of Standard Chartered.
In a report on economic forecasts for the second quarter of 2016, the bank added that the UAE's non-oil activity is resilient in face of the decline in oil prices, which reflected positively on the growth of the UAE's foreign trade.
The bank also expected 3% growth in the UAE's non-oil sector in the first quarter of 2016.
