Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The total value of salaries across the UAE rose 8.15% to reach AED 210.9 billion in 2016 from AED 195 billion in 2015, according to a statement.
Wages Protection System (WPS) saw more than 50.8 million payment transfers in 2016, compared to 47.7 million in 2015.
Total value of salaries transferred rose from AED 126.7 billion in 2012 to AED 147 billion and AED 170 billion in 2013 and 2014, respectively.
