Dubai – Mubasher: United Arab Emirates Foreign Minister, Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, asserted on Sunday that his country is keen on boosting the Russian tourist flow to UAE, and energise the air traffic and flights between the two countries.
Al Nahyan said, during UAE-Russia joint committee meeting held recently in Abu Dhabi, that Emirates pays great attention for this issue, and is ready to double its investments in the Russian economy including the tourism sector.
“There is a big interest in increasing investments between the two countries. We think that this will boast not only the investments and trade exchange between UAE and Russia, but also will reinforce the cooperation between the people of them,” he explained.
Russian Minister of Industry and Trade, Dennis Masarurov, also expected a notable rise in the number of Russian tourists to UAE by the end of the year.
