UAE seeks to attract AED 550bn foreign investments - officials

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE aims to attract AED 550 billion ($150 billion) of inward foreign investments within the upcoming nine years and become among the ten biggest global investment hubs by 2030, the UAE Minister of Economy, Abdulla bin Touq, said in a media briefing as cited by Bloomberg.

The UAE Minister of Economy referred that the country seeks to foster its trade relations in Asia and Africa and focus on investments from countries, including Russia, Australia, China, and the UK. 

Meanwhile, officials remarked in the media briefing that the UAE also targets economic partnerships with eight countries, including South Korea, Indonesia, Kenya, Ethiopia, and Turkey.
