UAE stock markets close Monday in green zone

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Monday's trading session in the green zone.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up 0.01% to settle at 2,823.35 points by the end of Monday's session.

A total of 71.75 million shares were traded through 1,750 transactions valued at AED 99.63 million.

International Financial Advisors Holding (IFA) led the rising stocks with 14.61%, while Al Salam Group Holding topped the losing stocks with 9.7%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched up 0.95% to close Monday's session at 7,572.82 points.

Turnover amounted to AED 1.36 billion after 156.23 million shares had been exchanged through 4,787 transactions.

Emirates Driving Company came on top of the green zone with 7.89%, while Methaq Takaful Insurance Company headed the red zone with 39.39%.
