UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have witnessed an upward performance by the end of Monday's trading session.
The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up 0.71% to end Monday's trading session at 2,618.92 points.
A total of 221.42 million shares were exchanged through 2,978 transactions valued at AED 372.41 million.
Dar Al Takaful led the rising stocks with 3.45%, while National Industries Group Holding (NIND) topped the losing stocks with 9.84%.
As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched up by around 0.42% to settle at 5,707.82 points by the end of Monday's session.
Turnover amounted to AED 840.84 million after 141.34 million shares had been traded through 3,510 transactions.
Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries (Julphar) came on top of the green zone with 6.56%, while Abu Dhabi National Company for Building Materials (BILDCO) headed the red zone with 3.85%.
