UAE stock markets close Tuesday in green zone

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Tuesday's trading session in the green zone.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up 0.06% to close Tuesday's session at 2,909.37 points.

A total of 155.35 million shares were traded through 2,580 transactions valued at AED 144.9 billion.

Ekttitab Holding led the rising stocks with 4.89%, while Al Mazaya Holding came on top of the losing stocks with 9.42%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index rose by 1.18% to end Tuesday's session at 7,718.34 points.

Turnover amounted to AED 1.5 billion after 184.22 million shares had been exchanged through 6,037 transactions.

Sharjah Group topped the green zone with 14.86%, while Abu Dhabi National Co. for Building Materials (Bildco) headed the red zone with 6.25%.
