UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Tuesday's trading session in the red zone.
The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went down 0.23% to settle at 2,816.67 points by the end of Tuesday.
A total of 74.8 million shares were exchanged through 1,508 transactions valued at AED 105.46 million.
Emirates Refreshments led the losing stocks with 9.87%.
As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched down by around 0.19% to end Tuesday's session at 7,558.73 points.
Turnover amounted to AED 1.19 billion after 293.77 million shares had been traded through 4,056 transactions.
Methaq Takaful Insurance Company topped the red zone with 90%, while Bank of Sharjah headed the green zone with 4.76%.
