UAE stock markets end Sunday on positive note

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have closed Sunday's trading session in the green zone.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) rose by 1.04% to end Sunday's session at 2,600.31 points.

A total of 126.01 million shares were executed through 2,051 transactions valued at AED 152.08 million.

Takaful Emarat – Insurance Co led the rising stocks with 9.85%, while National Industries Group Holding (NIND) topped the losing stocks with 9.96%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index went up by around 0.84% to settle at 5,683.95 points by the end of Sunday's session.

Turnover amounted to AED 832.35 million after 169.27 million shares had been exchanged through 2,540 transactions.

Abu Dhabi National Company for Building Materials (BILDCO) came on top of the green zone with 14.29%, while Fujairah Building Industries (FBI) led the red zone with 7.41%.
