UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have closed Sunday's trading session on a varied note.
The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) inched down 0.01% to settle at 2,546.61 points by the end of Sunday's trading session.
A total of 301 million shares were traded through 3,428 transactions valued at AED 206.22 million.
The market cap value rose by AED 60 million to AED 346.21 billion, compared to AED 346.15 billion during the previous session.
Al Madina for Finance and Investment led the losing stocks with 3.16%, while Shuaa Capital topped the rising stocks with 4.63%.
As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index went up by around 0.61% to close Sunday's session at 5,140.57 points.
Turnover amounted to AED 352.24 million after 124.45 million shares had been exchanged through 3,078 transactions.
The market cap value decreased by AED 2.13 billion to AED 744.79 billion, compared to AED 742.66 billion during the previous session.
RAK Ceramics topped the green zone with 14.9%, while Bank of Sharjah led the red zone with 3.47%.
