UAE suspends flights to Pakistan until further notice

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Flights to all Pakistani airports from the emirates of Dubai and Abu Dhabi were suspended on Wednesday until further notice.

The UAE airlines advised travelers to Pakistan and India to continue monitoring the status of their flights in view of the escalating conflict between the two Asian neighbours, Gulf News reported.

UAE-based carrier flydubai dropped Wednesday’s and Thursday's flights to a number of destinations, including Faisalabad, Multan, Sialkot and Karachi in Pakistan.

On Tuesday, India launched air strikes against militants in Pakistani territory.

Strikes hit a training camp of the Jaish-e-Mohammad group in Balakot, northwest Pakistan.
