Dubai – Mubasher: Theme parks in the UAE are set to generate $837 million in revenues by 2019, according to statistics by the International Expo-Consults (IEC).
Spending on theme parks is expected to double to $637 million by 2020.
The country will benefit from family entertainment centres, which account for a major stake in the edutainment sector.
Entertainment and leisure sectors in the GCC region are attracting great attention, IEC CEO Sherif Rahman said.
