Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Dubai Islamic Economy Development Centre (DIEDC) said Wednesday that a founding committee is in talks with the UAE Central Bank to establish Emirates Trade Bank.
Emirates Trade Bank, the first of its kind global Sharia compliant bank, is set to be specialised in international trade and commodity financing, according to a statement.
The new bank is aiming to support Dubai’s Islamic financial sector and double UAE trade flows by 2020.
