Dubai – Mubasher: The UAE is to host the 20th edition of International Telecommunications Union (ITU) Plenipotentiary Conference 2018 that will be held from 29 October to 16 November 2018 at the Dubai World Trade Center.
This is the first time for the conference to be held in the Middle East, which reflects the ITU leadership and Member States’ confidence in the UAE’s ability to achieve the success of this hosting.
This hosting enhances the UAE’s position on the global communications chart and comes in line with the UAE Vision 2021.
Taking place every four years, the event targets setting the general policies of the ITU and adopting four-year strategic and financial plans.
