Dubai-Mubasher: The Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) is expected to issue mergers and acquisitions (M&A) Law in the second half of 2016, according to Obaid Al Zaabi, Acting CEO of the SCA.
The new law will facilitate M&A transactions for brokerage and financial institutions, he added on the sidelines of a ceremony held in SCA’s headquarter.
The authority is preparing for options contracts to provide the liquidity and hedging instruments that the “market maker” needs, Al Zaabi noted.
