Abu Dhabi - Mubasher: The Emirati ministry of energy said on Wednesday that it will raise local gasoline and diesel prices next January, after the recent rise in oil prices globally.
According to the ministry’s assistant under-secretary for oil, gas and mineral resources, Ahmed Al Kaabi, the main reason behind the increase in local fuel prices is the surge of oil prices in international markets after the recent OPEC output deal.
The price for Gasoline 98 will reach AED 1.91 per liter starting January compared to the current price of AED 1.8, while Gasoline 95 will be priced at AED 1.8 per liter up from AED 1.69.
The price of Gasoline 91 will be raised to AED 1.73 per liter from AED 1.62, while Diesel price will be AED 1.94 per liter compared to AED 1.81 in December.
