Dubai – Mubasher: Spending on national tourism in the UAE will grow 3.7% annually reaching AED 56.2 billion by 2027, according to a new report by the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC).
UAE citizens’ spending will likely increase 1.3% during 2017 reaching AED 39.2 billion, compared to AED 38.7 billion in 2016, the report said.
The UAE boasts a lot of tourist facilities, particularly in the entertainment and hotels sector.
The Gulf country aims to develop its tourism sector, with Dubai looking to attract about 20 million tourists by 2020.
