Cairo – Mubasher: The UAE came in the first spot among Egypt’s export destinations during the first nine months of 2018 with exports valued at around $1.576 billion, according to a report by the General Organization for Import and Export Control (GOEIC).
Turkey was ranked second with exports valued at $1.498 billion, state-run news agency MENA reported, citing the GOEIC.
Moreover, the US came in third place with Egyptian exports worth $1.185 billion, followed by Italy with exports worth $1.171 billion, the report showed.
Saudi Arabia came in the fifth spot with exports valued at $1.055 billion, the GOEIC added.
Egypt’s trade volume rose by 13% year-on-year during the nine-month period ended September, registering $67.63 billion, compared to $59.82 billion.
