UAEIIC, UIBC signs MoU to boost cooperation

Dubai- Decypha: The UAE International Investors Council (UAEIIC) and UAE-India Business Council (UIBC) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on 10th of April to promote trade and investment, and expand cooperation between both countries in the technological and industrial sectors.

The UAEIIC and UIBC will work to strengthen and diversify business and trade collaborations between the UAE and India through dispatching business delegations and launching trade shows, seminars and workshops.

The agreement also targets boosting UAE investments in India.

Under this agreement, the UAE and India will allow resources and information for stakeholders from both countries to support investments, ease the organisation of visits, conferences and business events and prepare the needed framework for launching platforms for cooperation and sharing resources.

Linking UAE investors working in foreign countries and the Emirati government, the UAEIIC was established to support and protect interests of UAE investors.

Founded jointly by both governments, the UIBC was launched in September 2015 in New Delhi to promote bilateral trade between the UAE and India, and support commercial partnerships.
