Mubasher: The UK economy picked up to 0.6% in the second quarter of 2016, a revised estimate of GDP confirmed.
The country’s economy expanded 2.2% year-on-year in Q2-16, according to the Office for National Statistics.
The growth was mainly driven by the services and manufacturing sectors which grew 0.5% and 1.8% respectively.
