Mubasher: British government borrowing declined in the first seven months of the current fiscal year, touching the lowest level in 10 years, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) said on Tuesday.
ONS stated that the public sector borrowed GBP 38.5 billion in the April-October period, its lowest level since 2007.
In October 2017, the UK government borrowing soared GBP 0.5 billion to GBP 8 billion, beating expectations of GBP 6.6 billion.
