Mubasher: The price of houses in the UK rose in November but was considered overall weak by analysts, having slowed from the month before.
UK house prices increased by 0.1% in November, slowing from a 0.2% rise in October, data released by mortgage lender Nationwide showed Thursday, whereas analysts polled by Reuters had predicted a monthly rise of 0.2%.
Meanwhile, House prices grew 2.5% on the year in November, unchanged from the prior month; however, it has slowed from data before the Brexit vote carried out last year, Nationwide added.
Analysts polled by Reuters had forecast a rise in house prices by 2.7% on the year in November.
