Mubasher: UK inflation rose 0.5% year-on-year (y-o-y) in March 2016, according to the Office for National Statistics (ONS).
Core inflation, which excludes volatile food and energy prices, increased to 1.5% during the same month.
UK inflation as measured by the Consumer Prices Index (CPI) remained stabilised at 0.3% in February, according to ONS.
