Dubai – Mubasher: BMT, a design, engineering and risk management consultancy, on Tuesday announced that it has completed 100% of the design development of Emaar Properties’ Dubai Creek Tower.
BMT’s wind engineering experts have finalised the project’s aerodynamic shape optimisation studies, wind loading analyses, and façade wind pressure assessments, according to a company statement which gave no further details on the contract's value.
“Dubai Creek Tower's design includes a net of steel stay-cables, attached to a central reinforced concrete column”, BMT revealed, adding that “an oval-shaped bud was featured at the top of the tower, and will house numerous observation decks”.
Over 450 people are working on the project, the UK-based company concluded.
